Rizq (sustenance) is entirely in the hands of Allah. He is Ar-Razzaq (The Provider), and He provides for every creation in ways we expect and ways we do not expect. Islam teaches that increasing rizq is not only about effort, but also about taqwa, tawakkul, istighfar, charity, and sincere du’a.
The Quran and authentic Sunnah contain beautiful guidance for seeking barakah (blessing), relief from financial hardship, and halal provision.
Below are authentic Quranic ayahs and supplications with Arabic, transliteration, translation, and guidance.
Quranic Guidance on Rizq
1. Surah At-Talaq (65:2–3) – Trust in Allah
Arabic:
وَمَن يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّهُ مَخْرَجًا وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ
Transliteration:
Wa man yattaqi Allāha yaj‘al lahu makhrajan * wa yarzuqhu min ḥaythu lā yaḥtasib.

Guidance:
This verse reminds believers that taqwa and reliance on Allah are among the greatest means of increasing provision.
2. Surah Al-Baqarah (2:261) – Barakah in Charity
Allah compares spending in His path to a seed that grows into seven ears, each containing one hundred grains, showing how charity multiplies reward and blessings.
Key lesson: Charity does not decrease wealth; rather, it brings barakah.
3. Surah Hud (11:3) – Seeking Forgiveness and Rizq

وَأَنِ اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ ثُمَّ تُوبُوا إِلَيْهِ يُمَتِّعْكُم مَّتَاعًا حَسَنًا
Transliteration:
Wa an istaghfirū rabbakum thumma tūbū ilayhi yumatti‘kum matā‘an ḥasanā.
Translation:
“Seek forgiveness of your Lord and repent to Him; He will grant you good provision for an appointed term…”
Guidance:
Istighfar (seeking forgiveness) is a powerful means of opening doors of sustenance.
4. Surah Hud (11:6) – Allah Provides for All Creation

How to Increase Rizq Through Islam
